Weaning off baby from breast milk at times seems to be a humungous task. Babies tend to take a lot of time to wean off and is a little taxing for the mom too. Breaking this habit is for sure a difficult task. However, by following these simple tips, it can be made a tad easier:

The main hurdle to wean off from breast feeding is the mental one. The mother has to be strong enough emotionally to discontinue same and every mother has to take a call at some stage of life.
By 2 years of age child very well understands the physiology that whenever he/she is crying, will be offered breast as a pacifier. To overcome this urge, mom has to take a hard stand that whenever he/she is crying, she should not offer the same and the child will stop on his/her own in next 2-3 days.
The other option which I generally use is to apply tab quinine in form of paste which is quite bitter one and child gets discouraged to use same.
