Gestational Diabetes is basically the high amount of blood sugar that occurs during pregnancy and disappears after the birth of your baby. Though it can occur during any stage of a women’s pregnancy, the most common time is during the second half of the pregnancy.

Once a mother is diagnosed with gestational diabetes, it is of the utmost importance that she follows a healthy diet that will help keep her blood sugar levels under control, because unless you control it, your baby’s and your health will be at risk.
